Web search query

A web search query is a query based on a specific search term that a user enters  into a web search engine to satisfy their information needs. Web  search queries  are  distinctive  in  that  they are often plain text or hypertext with optional search-directives.

A query consists of one or more words, numbers, or phrases that you hope you will find in the search results listings. In Google Guide, I sometimes call a query search terms. Now press the ENTER key or click on the Google Search button to view your search results.

Crawling: Scour the Internet for content, looking over the code/content for each URL they find. Indexing: Store and organize the content found during the crawling process. Once a page is in the index, it's in the running to be displayed as a result to relevant queries.

Search engine optimization is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO targets unpaid traffic rather than direct traffic or paid traffic.
